7 upcoming cars in India for 2020

2019 has been a pretty decent year with some exciting cars being introduced to the Indian market. Mahindra XUV300 and MG Hector are among the most notable names that mark this year. However, you would start getting goosebumps hearing about the list of cars that would be making their entry into India the upcoming year. Let us take a sneak peek into the new car list for India.
#1 Porsche Cayenne Coupe – The Porsche Cayenne Coupe was globally launched in March 2019. However, it is yet to make its entry into the Indian markets. It is expected that the car would be entering with a few weeks and be sold in 3 variants – “Cayenne Turbo Coupe, Cayenne Coupe, and Cayenne E-Hybrid Coupe”. The Cayenne Coupe has sharper lines and an adaptive rear spoiler. The Porsche Active Aerodynamics extends the spoiler by 135 mm at speeds higher than 90 kmph.
#2 Audi Q8 – Audi is expanding the SUV lineup and adding new models beyond their range. The new Q8 is a high-end coupe SUV that is built on the same platform as the Lamborghini Urus and the Porsche Macan. The Q8 is a 5-seater coupe and would compete against Mercedes GLE Coupe, and the BMW X6. . The car looks very sporty with features like large wheels, low roof and sharp body. It would rank among the best new cars in India.
#3 Hyundai Aura – Hyundai Aura is a new concept which is quite like the Grand i10 Nios. The model will replace the current Xcent. However, lower variants of the Xcent might be available. The car has featured highlights for instance a new bumper, the signature cascading grille with boomerang shaped LED DRIs, and projector headlamps. The model will arrive in the first half of 2020. The car will call for a major new launch in India.
#4 Tata Nexon EV – From the past few years, Tata Motors has been working on the EV variant of the Nexon model. A test mule of the Nexonwas spotted in recent spy images. The model is expected to cost between 15 to 17 lacs in the country. Reports cite that the car would have a range of 300 kmph.
#5 MG ZS EV – MG ZS EV is ready to take over Indian market as another electric car. Its pure electric model was launched at the 2018 Guangzhou motor show. The electric variant is very similar to the standard version. However, the car would have high-quality materials with a glossy finish along with the alloy wheels which provide newness and reduce dragging.
#6 Kia Grand Carnival – The Kia Grand Carnival would be the second product from the company. Known as Kia Sedona in the global markets, this MPV is available in 7, 8 and 11-seat configurations. Though there is a variant with a 3.3-litre V6 engine, there are meagre chances of the model entering Indian markets. This will be a new car launch to look forward to.
#7 Tata Altroz – Altroz is an upcoming car from Tata with a futuristic design. The car would create its specific impact against the other brands like, the Maruti Suzuki, Baleno, the Hyundai i20 and the Toyota Glanza. It is expected to be priced lower than its otherparticipants. The Altrozwould be based on the new ALFA platform, making the car much lighter and convenient.
